Our Administrators

Our Principal
Frances McCrimmon, M.Ed., a school administrator and Tampa native with over 40 years of experience as an educator in Pasco County, will be the principal of Focus Academy. Her vast experience as a teacher, assistant principal, supervisor of staff development, and principal have provided her with the experience and qualities required to open and successfully operate Focus Academy. Mrs. McCrimmon has dedicated her life to education and was recognized on numerous occasions for her contributions to the education community in Pasco County. She was the Pasco County District Teacher-of-the-Year, the Pasco County Assistant Principal-of-the-Year, and the Council for Exceptional Children Principal-of-the-Year. 

Our Clinical Director
Loretta Gallo-Lopez, MA, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Drama Therapist/Board Certified Trainer, with over 25 years of clinical experience with children, adolescents and young adults with special needs. She began her professional career as an ESE teacher and has been in private practice in Tampa for over 20 years. Loretta is a nationally recognized speaker, a published author of both books and articles about her work and is co-director of the ACT Project - a drama therapy and performance based social skills program.
